Eddie Murphy Hosting This Year's Oscars

Eddie Murphy fans are overjoyed to learn today that Hollywood legend Eddie Murphy will be hosting the Oscars.  The LA Times and Deadline are reporting that the legendary comedian and actor will be hosting the prestigious and glamorous awards ceremony this year.

His new film Tower Heist with Ben Stiller, Matthew Broderick and Casey Affleck is scheduled to open on November 4th.  The movie is produced by Ratner, who is famous for Rush Hour, X Men and The Last Stand.
